Healthcare Construction Project Manager

Key Responsibilities: Lead design-build projects from initial concept through final delivery, ensuring adherence to cost, quality, and schedule objectives. Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, and construction personnel throughout the project lifecycle. Drive early-stage design collaboration and implement value engineering to optimize project outcomes. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost estimates. Administer contracts, subcontracts, and procurement of materials and services. Ensure compliance with design intent, scope of work, and contractual requirements. Manage the permitting process and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Facilitate regular project meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders. Proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues as they arise. Maintain quality assurance throughout both design and construction phases. Enforce jobsite safety and regulatory compliance. Oversee project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and reports. Provide leadership and foster a collaborative team environment. Cultivate strong client relationships to support ongoing and future business. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, including at least 3 years leading design-build projects. Demonstrated expertise in managing both design and construction for complex commercial, industrial, healthcare, or institutional projects. In-depth knowledge of design-build and integrated project delivery methods. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, Primavera P6). Solid financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Familiarity with local building codes, permitting, and regulatory requirements. Professional certifications such as DBIA, PMP, or LEED AP are a plus.
