Instructor of Landscape Construction and Management (Full-Time)

Instructor of Landscape Construction and Management (Full-Time) POSITION DESCRIPTION Are you a seasoned and energetic landscaper desiring an opportunity to teach the next generation of landscape professionals? If so, then consider applying for the full-time, Instructor of Landscape Construction and Management position. The ideal candidate should possess a broad knowledge of landscape construction and management techniques, practices, and equipment, in order to oversee and train students on applied, hands-on activities and campus projects. Instructional duties include but are not limited to: creating and delivering classroom lectures; developing and updating course curricula, schedules, outlines and syllabi; creating and conducting timely assessments of student learning; using the College’s Learning Management System (Canvas); and attending Williamson meetings and special activities. Lastly mentor and guide student behavior, in alignment with the college’s code of conduct and Core Values as a means to aid students in their personal growth and future professional success. QUALIFICATIONS Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s preferred) in landscape construction or maintenance or related discipline with at least six years of progressively responsible trade experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and equipment operation and safety, is required. COMPENSATION Based on educational qualifications and applicable industry and teaching experience, the annual salary for the non-tenured, ten-month appointment is in the competitive range and includes an excellent benefits package. STARTING DATE August 2025 WORK ENVIRONMENT This position requires the instructor to teach in-person. Williamson College of the Trades is an endowed, three-year, private technical college for deserving young men.
