The Construction and Trades Management Instructor works under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Education, Program Director, and/or his/her designee. The instructor's main role is to deliver effective instruction in our programs through the use of centrally developed materials, ensuring students gain the knowledge and skills needed for entry-level employment in their chosen field. Instructors are expected to uphold strong educational practices and support each student's academic development. In addition to managing a positive and engaging online learning environment, instructors provide timely support, virtual tutoring, and individualized assistance as needed. Online instructors are also expected to model professional behavior, communication, and work habits that reflect the standards we expect from our students.

Knowledge of the federal Department of Education, state, local, and accreditation standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
MBA or related degree and at least 18 hours of college-level courses in the field of instruction, from an academic institution accredited by a regional or accrediting agency that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, as required by specific program standards.
Must be certified or licensed where required by law
Four years of verifiable experience in the areas of Construction and Trades Management, and Project Management
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated success in collaborating with diverse groups of employees and customers
Demonstration of the highest levels of integrity and professionalism in all aspects, including demeanor and attitude
Ability to work in an observation/coaching style environment
Capability to prioritize, accept responsibility, and work within deadlines
Superior organizational and problem-resolution skills
Demonstrated commitment to customer service
Solid computer software skills, including Microsoft Office/Google Suite
QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of experience in academic instruction in a post-secondary environment
5 years of experience in the field of instruction
