Mechanical Designer
As a Mechanical Designer, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation in the development of state-of-the-art food processing equipment, specifically focusing on shakers and conveyor systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Innovative Design: Lead the development of cutting-edge food processing equipment, performing precise 3D design with Autodesk Inventor for groundbreaking models; advanced proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for 2D and 3D modeling. Technology Integration: Stay abreast of technological advancements and integrate state-of-the- art solutions into design processes. Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures, including stress and thermal analysis, to meet regulatory standards like CE and OSHA and customer expectations. Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively, and produce detailed design and equipment documentation. CAD Proficiency: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for 2D and 3D modeling. PDM Implementation: Take the lead in implementing Product Data Management (PDM) systems for streamlined design collaboration and version control. QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS: Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 3 years of design experience, with a proven track record with conveyors and ideally large volume food processing and/or packaging equipment design. Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling and 2D drafting, with a track record of using PDM systems. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards is a plus but not required. Knowledge of CE / OSHA Guidelines is a plus but not required. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Professional-level English language skills for effective communication, both verbally and in written form. Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills. A strong desire to grown and lead.
