Job Overview: BC Excavating LTD is looking to hire 7 dedicated Construction Laborers to join our growing field operations team! In this vital role, Laborers serve as the eyes and ears for equipment operators, ensuring that construction activities are performed safely, accurately, and efficiently. As a Laborer, you will assist in all aspects of fieldwork, support operators and foremen, and help maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Assist equipment operators and foremen on active construction sites.- Perform manual labor including trench work, material handling, site cleanup, and utility locating.- Serve as a spotter and safety observer for operators during excavation and equipment operation.- Identify potential hazards and communicate effectively to the crew to ensure a safe worksite.- Maintain tools and equipment and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).- Follow site-specific safety protocols and company standards at all times.- Travel to various job sites with overnight stays (1-4 nights/week as needed).- Work outdoors in various weather conditions year-round.- Complete assigned tasks independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications:- High School diploma or GED preferred.- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred (BC Excavating will provide it if needed).- 1 year of construction experience preferred, but open to entry-level candidates with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.- Valid Driver's License required; CDL Class A preferred or willingness to obtain.- Must be safety-driven with a strong attention to detail.- Physically and mentally capable of performing demanding tasks.- Able to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to show up on time for work.

Work Schedule: Full-time | Monday to Friday | Overtime as needed | Travel required

Work Location: In-person | Various Midwest job sites (Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana) | Travel required with overnight stays as needed
