Summary:

The Design-Build Crew Member is the entry into the Design Build at Badger State Maintenance. Crew Member must have a positive, can-do attitude, be an eager learner, be conscious of safety requirements, work effectively as a team member, dress appropriately, be punctual, and follow all instructions given by the Design-Build Field Supervisor.

Role and Responsibilities

• Follow all instructions given by the Landscape Field Supervisor.
• Thoroughly understands and complies with company policy and safety manual.

• Reports any and all unsafe conditions or accidents.

• Properly and safely operate equipment such as Mini-Skid, Power Mud Buggy, Compactor, Brick & Wood Saw, Blower, sod cutter, bed edger etc.

• Able to report to work by 6:45 AM- 5:00PM (sometimes longer or occasionally weekend work.)

• Is a willing learner who seeks to master the basic skills of landscape construction.

• Reports to work in a clean, appropriate uniform and wearing the appropriate boots.

• Able to communicate with supervisor in a timely and thorough manner.

• Completes assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and per company production rates.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions including snow, sleet, rain, humidity and heat.

• Ability to lift 60lbs repeatedly through an entire work shift.
