Responsibilities:
- Crew Leadership:
- Lead and supervise a crew of 2-4 members, ensuring efficient and high-quality work.
- Provide hands-on guidance and instruction to crew members.
- Drive the company truck and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites.
- Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with the designer, project manager, and construction manager to review project plans and timelines.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet company quality standards.
- Maintain clear communication between the office and the onsite crew.
- Onsite Labor:
- Perform and oversee tasks such as site preparation, grading, planting, and hardscape installations.
- 100% onsite labor.
- Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot challenges as they arise and adapt to dynamic project needs.
Qualifications:
- Required Experience:
- At least 2 years of landscape construction experience (5+ years preferred).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a crew.
- Expertise in retaining walls, fences, paver patios, and planting.
- Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in lighting, irrigation, woodworking, and poured concrete installation.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) to communicate effectively with a diverse team.
- Other Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety and high-quality craftsmanship.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $60,000$85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
