Key Responsibilities- Oversee carpentry crews and ensure high-quality workmanship on all job sites.- Perform hands-on carpentry, including framing, trim work, and installations.- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project layouts.- Plan and execute daily tasks to ensure project timelines are met.- Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors as needed.- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.- Mentor and support less experienced crew members.- Ensure compliance with all local building codes and safety regulations.

Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of recent carpentry experience in residential construction.- Strong proficiency in framing and trim carpentry (roof framing a plus).- Capable of reading a tape measure to 1/16" and interpreting project specs.- Must provide your own tool pouch and hand tools.- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day.- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to/from the Rockford shop.- Ability to drive a truck and trailer.- High school diploma or GED preferred.- Excellent communication and leadership skills.- This role requires a professional appearance in line with client-facing expectations.- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job right.

Schedule- Monday-Friday, full-time- Weekends are rarely required.

Work Location- Primary location: Rockford, IL- Work is performed on-site at residential project locations in and around the Rockford area.
