Description Sharpline Equity, a rapidly growing multifamily operator with over 1200 units under management, is seeking a Part Time Maintenance Technician for our rapidly improving communities. Key Responsibilities • Resident and Team Communication: Effectively communicate with residents, guests, visitors, and staff to ensure a high level of service. • Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct all community maintenance work, service requests, punch-outs, building inspections, and preventative maintenance. • Safety and Professionalism: Ensure all work is completed safely, promptly, and professionally, adhering to company policies and procedures. • Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies. • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare maintenance reports and other job-related documentation. • Additional Duties: Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Assistant Maintenance Supervisor.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise • Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; Trade school preferred. • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of general maintenance experience with at least 6 months in apartment maintenance; supervisory experience preferred. • Certifications: HVAC certification is a plus. • Technical Skills: Proficient in general maintenance, carpentry, painting, refurbishing, plumbing, electricity, appliances, and HVAC. • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, walk, kneel, and work on ladders up to 30 feet. Must be able to work in confined spaces and all climate conditions. • Interpersonal Skills: Strong public contact and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. • Language Proficiency: Basic proficiency in reading and writing in English; bilingual in English and Spanish is desired. • Additional Requirements: Must maintain a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be willing to work on-call and extended hours (including weekends).
