Position: Maintenance Technician 1 Location: Carson Crossing, our brand new multi-family residential community located in Austin, TX Hours:  M-F 8:00am-5:00pm, with on-call weekend rotation Key Qualifications: EPA I & II or EPA Universal. If you do not have your EPA, but posses the right skills and experience, RPS may sponsor (and pay) for your EPA I & II within your first 75-days on the job. Responsibilities: Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines Manage service requests and ensure timely completion Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development Assist in property preventative maintenance plan Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime Requirements: Education:High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred Experience:Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or GroundskeeperProficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.Must own basic tools as allowed by state lawsKnowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing LawsStrong organizational skills and ability to work independently Skills & Certifications:EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferredValid Driver's License requiredProficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes Benefits: Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits packageQuarterly Increase Opportunities$40 monthly cell phone allowanceAnnual discretionary bonus.
