As Coastal Engineering continues to expand its presence along the East Coast, we're seeking a skilled Estimator with a background in marine construction and commercial diving to support our growing pipeline of complex infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for marine construction and diving projects (ports, seawalls, bridges, subsea pipelines, etc.).
Review engineering plans, bid documents, and site conditions to identify scope, risks, and cost drivers.
Coordinate with project management, field operations, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing.
Lead quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns for labor, equipment, and materials.
Assist with proposal development, bid presentations, and project planning.
Maintain estimating tools, cost history, and databases.
Participate in value engineering, scheduling, and risk assessments.
Qualifications
3+ years of estimating experience in marine construction, heavy civil, or diving operations.
Hands-on field background in marine construction or commercial diving is a strong plus.
Skilled in reading and interpreting construction drawings & specifications.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and project planning tools.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with USACE, NAVFAC, or DOT marine contracts.
Commercial diving experience or certification (ADCI, IMCA).
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Marine Technology (preferred but not required).
Compensation details: 80000-135000 Yearly Salary
