The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating the costs of marine construction projects, including bridges, piers, seawalls, and other waterfront structures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using HCSS Heavy Bid software and possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in marine construction estimating and civil site work construction. A degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred. Key Responsibilities Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates. Develop relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers for competitive pricing. Use HCSS Heavy Bid software to estimate project costs including labor, materials, and equipment. Prepare detailed bid proposals and presentations for clients. Collaborate with project teams to develop cost-effective solutions. Monitor project costs and manage change orders. Provide progress reports to management and stakeholders.

Requirements Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred). 5-10 years of experience in marine construction estimating. Experience with HCSS Heavy Bid software (preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in teams. Attention to detail.

Physical Requirements Sitting and driving for prolonged periods. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolding. Exposure to construction and marine site hazards. Operating heavy equipment and vehicles. Responding to dangerous situations and working in all weather conditions.
