This collaborative position will focus on enhancing our marketing and pursuit deliverables to generate leads and create opportunities for the business. Responsibilities

Contribute to the strategy, development and execution of strategic MarComm plans for our U.S. buildings and civil operations

Apply benefit and differentiator principles to marketing materials

Editing and/or writing clear and concise marketing content for appropriate mediums

Collaborate on and produce innovative marketing collateral that leverages PCL branding and influences perceptions of targeted audiences

Research and verify the accuracy of information

Planning and coordination of external market sector-focused events

Collaborating with MarComm team and internal subject matter experts to produce qualifications packages

Participating in the pursuit process, sharing valid ideas and occasionally producing proposals or presentations as needed

Coordination and tracking of marketing initiatives and associated results

Management of client lists

Working with minimal direction required

Qualifications

Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or advertising

Minimum of three years' progressive experience in a related role either within a corporation or an agency setting

Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and social media strategies

Strong writing skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Strong proofreading skills

Minimum one year of experience with SOQ/RFQ and proposals

Ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of organization

Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity

Proactive, results-oriented with an ability to handle tight deadlines

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment

Strong knowledge and competency with InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite)

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Experience developing marketing content in the context of construction, engineering, or architecture is an asset

Understanding of construction terminology and delivery methods with the ability to readily grasp concepts and technical processes is also an asset

This is an in-office position with some flexibility.

PCL combines numerous pay and benefit strategies to provide a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package. The hiring range for this position is between $73,000 and $88,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
