Mechanical Construction Project Manager
Commercial Mechanical is seeking a highly qualified full-time Project Manager. Each Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously and is expected to complete each project on time, within budget, and to the Company’s quality standards and customer’s satisfaction. We are looking for a team player who has a firm understanding of the construction process and can perform complex tasks and manage multiple priorities while always maintaining a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
Minimum 5 years previous experience on commercial construction projects related to mechanical construction
Act as primary contact for client/owner.
Attend all required pre-construction and project meetings.
Manage project schedules, including coordination with project architects, engineers, owners, subcontractors and field personnel to ensure projects run efficiently, profitably and on schedule.
Responsible for managing all construction documents, including submittals, RFI’s, change proposals, change orders, purchase orders, etc.
Oversee preparation of subcontractor agreements, subcontractor and vendor purchase orders, and project SOV billings
Oversee project close out: perform project walk through with owner, architect, engineer and project superintendent. Oversee preparation of all project closeout documents.
Monitor budget and approve costs, including vendor and subcontractor billings.
Identify and resolve issues.
Define any cost or schedule impacts.

Requirements:
Qualifications The following qualifications along with individuals' previous work experience will be considered by the company when evaluating applicants:
Minimum 5 years previous experience on commercial construction projects related to mechanical construction
Full knowledge of computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
Ability to read and understand specifications, architectural and mechanical plans.
Ability to deal diplomatically and communicate effectively with our team and customers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to organize resources and establish priorities.
Ability to handle a dynamic, evolving and fast-paced workload under deadlines
Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check
