Multi Family Construction Superintendent
Job Overview
Red Cedar Homes is looking for a detail oriented Multi Family Construction Superintendent to join our team. The Commercial Construction Superintendent will plan, develop and manage schedules in partnership with project managers, maintain budgets and site activities. The ideal candidate will also coordinate subcontractors and vendors, subcontractor agreements, supervise construction projects and design through project completion. Most projects will revolve around garden style apartments and high density Build to Rent (BTR) townhomes with potential growth into 4 story surface park, deck wrap and podium type multifamily as well as light industrial. Attention to detail and organization of the process will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of our commercial construction operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Great Over-Communication with client, subs & staff
Organizational skillsto the point of over-detailed mind-set.
Manages day-to-day subcontractor operations
Ensures the sequence of work determined by Project Schedule is being followed in a manner consistent with quality and value
Reviews shop drawings, manages materials procurement, coordinates deliveries, ensures site accessibility, inspects overall work quality, and maintains a safe and efficient work site
Proactive, forward thinking, and high level of organization is a must
Knowledge of Project Controls Software such as ProCore strongly desired
Strong work ethic, positive professional attitude
Provide the highest level of customer service to our clients with an emphasis on communication and professionalism
Maintain meticulous documentation standards, reports and receipts recorded daily
Assist in the preparation and negotiation of subcontractor agreements and maintain budgets via company assigned technology/devices.
Select appropriate construction methods and strategies to complete projects on budget and on schedule in coordination with the design team
Report progress reports, weekly updates, and budget matters to Project Managers and Director of Construction
Assist in the vetting and hiring of subcontractors
Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations
Establish prompt resolution of problems and conflicts as they occur
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Qualifications & Traits:
Bachelor's degree .
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a related role.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret plans.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, standard daytime hours; 8:30 am - 5 pm
Job Type:
Full-time position, averaging 40 hours per week
Compensation:
$90,000-$120,000 annually
Annual bonus based on company and personal performance
