Position:  Construction Site Safety Specialist Duration: 4 to 6 months Location:  Holly Springs, NC (Raleigh/Durham area) Job Description: Paragon Safety Group is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Safety Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis to support the work of our client, a Trade Subcontractor working on a major construction site. As a Construction Site Safety Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel on the construction site. Your primary responsibility will be to implement and maintain a comprehensive safety program in line with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on the construction site. Implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards. Provide safety training to construction site personnel, including toolbox talks and site-specific safety orientations. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address safety concerns and foster a safety-conscious work environment. Stay current with industry best practices and safety regulations. Qualifications: OSHA 500-level certification is mandatory. Minimum of 8 years of professional safety oversight experience on construction sites. In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and make decisions in high-pressure situations. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety management.
