Job Summary Join our Menomonee Falls, WI team as an Operations Supervisor. This role oversee the daily activities of a team of people responsible for assembling systems and components used on Navy ships and submarines.
What You Will Do Ensure product/service quality through proper utilization of resources and adherence to applicable standards
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's polices and applicable laws and regulations
Lead activities to resolve issues and problems, identifying root cause and effecting appropriate corrective action
Monitor and enable internal and external customer satisfaction
Drive continuous improvement through deployment of best practices such as Lean Six Sigma
Maintain and continuously improve areas which impact on Team Member safety
Hire, manage career development, and assess performance of assigned team members
Support new product introduction activities
Education & Experience Requirements Associate's degree in a related field and 2-5 years of experience supervising a team of manufacturing employees; a bachelor's degree is preferred
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
Demonstrated customer-first mindset and a willingness to work with internal and external stakeholders
Experience working and managing teams in a union environment
Experience with Industrial Engineering concepts and 5S/6S technique
U.S. Citizenship required.
