Oracle NetSuite Solution Architect - ERP Software (Contract- Remote, East Coast )

Are you a highly experienced Solution Architect with a deep technical background in Oracle NetSuite ERP software platforms and a knack for integrating complex systems during mergers and acquisitions? We're looking for a skilled and hands-on architect to join our team for a multi-year contract position within the dynamic construction and residential home building industry, which also includes pool construction. This is a significant, long-term initiative expected to kick off in August 2025 and run for at least three years. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in shaping the technological future of our merged entities, ensuring seamless system integration and optimized workflows across our enterprise. This is a highly technical position, working directly with developers and deeply involved in the architecture and design of our enterprise solutions—it is not a functional-focused role. What You'll Do:

Lead Multi-Year M&A Integrations: Architect and design the integration of software, systems, and estimating functions for newly acquired building companies as part of a strategic, multi-year project.

System Rationalization: Identify and eliminate duplicate tools and streamline processes across merged organizations to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Technical Design & Architecture: Develop robust, scalable, and secure technical architectures for various ERP solutions, with a focus on critical construction-specific functions.

Hands-On Collaboration: Work daily and hands-on with a team of technical developers, providing guidance and expertise in solution implementation.

Problem Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges related to data migration, system interoperability, and application integration.

Strategic Vision: Contribute to the overall technology strategy, ensuring our ERP landscape supports business growth and operational excellence over the long term.

What You'll Bring:

12-15+ years of extensive experience as an Oracle NetSuite Solution Architect with a strong emphasis on the technical design and implementation of multiple ERP software platforms.

Proven expertise with a variety of ERP systems commonly used in construction, such as:

Sage (e.g., Sage 300 CRE, Sage Intacct)

Acumatica

IFS

Infor M3

Oracle NetSuite

Microsoft Dynamics

Epicor

CMiC

Foundation Software

Jonas ERP

And other relevant enterprise-level systems.

Demonstrated experience in designing and architecting solutions specifically for mergers and acquisitions, focusing on software, systems, and estimating tool consolidation.

Extensive experience architecting solutions for critical business functions including:

Subcontractor Management

Inventory Management

Workflow Processes and Automation

Logistics and Transportation

Real-time Cost and Payment Tracking

A strong understanding of the construction and residential home building industry is highly preferred.

Exceptional technical proficiency and the ability to work in a hands-on capacity with development teams.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for identifying inefficiencies and implementing effective solutions.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.

Contract Details:

This is a contract position with an anticipated duration of at least three years, commencing in August 2025.

Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience levels.
