Job Description:
SUMMARY
Providescommunity outreach functions to connect students to the grant funded BuiltEnvironment initiative to ensure enrollment in construction relatedprograms.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
Provides leadership in outreach, recruitment, enrollment, and tracking functions to ensure program deliverables
Builds awareness of Workforce programming with an emphasis on the Built Environment grant program and connections in the community through networking, public speaking and event attendance
Collaborates with Integrated Communications in developing marketing, communications (advertising, traditional media, social media, etc.) in positioning and increasing awareness of construction program offerings
Cultivates and maintains relationships with admissions, financial aid, and program staff to facilitate student enrollment and continuation in construction programs
Represents Tri-C Construction programs at recruiting events, college fairs, and community events, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING Bachelor's Degree in a related field Significant related experience may substitute for education
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS and ABILITIES Ability to effectively complete work assignments independently
Ability to be creative and exercise initiative
Possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Possess strong organizational and time-management skills

Intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft: Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint (or equivalent programs)

The work area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated.
Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers using a computer mouse and keyboard to type. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, pamphlets, books, etc.
Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite
Special Note: Target Starting Salary Range: $48,000 to $52,000
The final offer for the successful candidateis targeted to fall within this range but will be based upon an assessment ofinternal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate'squalifications in relation to the minimum and/or preferred jobrequirement(s).
If hired, you must reside in the state of Ohio and be within commuting distance of this work location/campus to respond to onsite work demands upon the employment start date and throughout the duration of your employment with the College, as outlined in 3354:1-40-01.1 Recruitment and Selection Procedure.
