At Precision Valley Communications as a Outside Plant Construction Project Coordinator you will coordinate Fiber-to-the- Home (FTTH) network deployments across communities in New York's Hudson Valley region. This role is responsible for coordinating construction activities, managing project workflows, and serving as a key liaison between field teams, subcontractors, and customer stakeholders.

What you'll do as a Outside Plant Construction Project Coordinator
- Develop job cost estimates, monitor costs, evaluates change orders and controls the cost of work in
progress to budget - Coordinate all phases of construction projects including pre-construction meetings, site surveys, permit and license applications, make-ready, design and documentation, material procurement, contract labor requirements, and plant activation
- Monitors project/job intake portals, update job and task status
- Communicates regularly with Project Managers and to review job funnels, schedules, and tasks
- Demonstrates safe operation and care of company vehicles. Ensures compliance with safety standards, participates in regular employer facilitated safety meetings
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance with occasional night work and weekend work to support maintenance and repair activity
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
What you'll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in OSP construction or telecommunications project coordination
- Familiarity with FTTH fiber/strand design maps and interpretation
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and Telcordia Blue Book construction standards
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Teams
$30-$35hr.
