Part-time and Limited Term Faculty Positions in Construction Management

Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Construction Management for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Construction Management, delivering high quality instruction (in-person and online) in at least one of the following areas of specialization: Heavy/Civil (including DOT construction)
Construction Survey/Layout
Construction Finance
Construction Estimating
Construction Safety
MEP Systems
Construction Law
Demonstrate enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues in the College and contribute to a positive and productive academic environment.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
To teach undergraduate courses:
A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Construction Management or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
OR
A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
To teach graduate courses:
A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Construction Management or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Record of engaging undergraduate and graduate students in research
Related commercialization success
Applied industry-focused research
National and/or international student competition coaching experience
Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses
Current or previously licensed professional surveyor conversant with construction layout
