Job Responsibilities:

Lead and manage pre-construction activities, including project planning, feasibility studies, and budget estimation for institutional educational projects.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
Conduct constructability reviews and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and solutions early in the project lifecycle.
Oversee the development and evaluation of bids and proposals from subcontractors and suppliers.
Coordinate with internal teams to align project timelines and milestones with client expectations.
Implement value engineering practices to optimize project costs while maintaining quality and functionality.
Facilitate community outreach initiatives to engage and inform local stakeholders about project developments.
Maintain documentation related to pre-construction processes and decisions.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Proven experience in a pre-construction management role within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Experience:

5+ years of experience in pre-construction management, ideally within the education sector.
Experience working with institutional projects and familiarity with educational facility requirements.
Demonstrated track record of successfully managing pre-construction processes from inception to contract award.
Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and estimating for construction projects.
