Derrevere Stevens Black & Cozad is seeking a highly experienced litigation attorney to join our Premises Liability Defense Practice Group. This is a remote position offering leadership opportunities within a collaborative and sophisticated litigation team. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of premises liability experience and be comfortable taking cases from start to finish. This position involves managing a complex caseload, leading litigation strategy, and maintaining strong client relationships, while actively handling all phases of litigation including: Conducting and defending depositions of parties, experts, and fact witnesses Attending and arguing at hearings, mediations, and arbitrations Preparing for and trying jury and bench trials Performing site inspections and coordinating with experts Drafting and arguing dispositive motions and discovery motions Engaging in comprehensive case evaluation, strategy, and client reporting Qualifications Minimum 3 years of premises liability experience Proven ability to manage cases from intake through trial and resolution Demonstrated experience with depositions, mediations, trials, and arbitrations Above average communication, litigation, and client management skills Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar At Derrevere Stevens Black & Cozad, we prioritize work-life balance and offer a supportive environment where you can thrive professionally.
