Job Description
Provide leadership for all production team members on an assigned shift. Responsible for the achievement of production schedules and organization of daily work assignments. Serve as the driver behind product/process safety, quality, delivery, and morale.
**Shift: **4:00pm - 1:00am
What You'll Do:
Provide leadership for all production Team Members on an assigned shift.
Responsible for day-to-day supervision of Team Members. Maintain attendance and disciplinary action records for each direct report in a timely manner.
Responsible for day-to- day compliance and adherence to Avalign and FDA QSR requirements.
Perform spot quality checks, 5S audits, Layered Process Audits.
Help drive/ lead continuous improvement projects.
Ensure team members are up to date and trained to perform assigned functions, including, but not limited to the areas of GMP, EHS and Quality Systems.
Ensure management is informed of all significant developments regarding the operation.
Ensure key constraints are managed and properly staffed.
Ensure product flows at established lead-times through manufacturing cells.
Responsible for development, promotion, and disciplinary actions of hourly Team Members.
Responsible for overall performance management for hourly Team Members.
Set direction and drive accountability for shift leadership on production and quality needs.
Manufacturing point person for product and process knowledge for shift.
Drive corrections to solve issues and escalate when needed.
Drive production plans for assigned shift and assign/distribute labor as needed.
Set staffing needs based on demand.
Direct cross training plans on assigned shift.
This position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the non-exempt operators and team leads.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Complete training and developing employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
What You'll Need:
High school diploma or general education (GED), bachelor’s degree required. Relevant experience may apply in lieu of education.
3+ combined medical device manufacturing and/or military experience highly preferred.
8+ years of combined industry, military, and/or related (general manufacturing, quality, or logistics) experience; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
Leadership experience preferred, may include military leadership experience
