Travel Required PRIMARY FUNCTION We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of medical office construction projects nationwide. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role responsible for overseeing all phases of development—from design and permitting through construction, setup, and project closeout. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and detail-oriented executor who can seamlessly coordinate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth healthcare environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This list may not include all the duties that may be assigned. Lead the full construction process from initial concept through office go-live. Manage architectural design, permit expediting, general contractor oversight, and final setup. Oversee projects including new builds, expansions, reconfigurations, and lease renewals. Conduct site visits at key project milestones: site survey, construction kickoff, and final punch list. Ensure all projects align with company buildout standards and established process flow. Collaborate with Operations, Clinical, and local teams to ensure space planning and design meet end-user needs. Facilitate project meetings with all internal stakeholders to ensure transparency, alignment, and timely decision-making. Act as a liaison between vendors, architects, and internal departments. Oversee the bidding process and conduct comparative cost analysis to ensure market-aligned pricing. Source and manage relationships with designers, architects, permit expediters, general contractors, and other service providers. Approve vendor invoices and manage new vendor onboarding within the accounting system. Partner with Legal to secure tenant allowance (TA) reimbursements from landlords, where applicable. Coordinate utilities setup and ensure timely activation prior to office go-live. Collect and organize all required closeout documentation, including Certificates of Occupancy, warranties, lien releases, and as-built drawings. Monitor project metrics including cost per square foot and industry-standard ratios. Oversee RFI and submittal processes to maintain project momentum. Manage permitting requirements for office signage and ensure compliance with local regulations. Ensure minimal disruption to existing operations during in-place renovations or adjacent construction. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, managing a high volume of project-related correspondence. Serve as a single point of contact for construction-related inquiries across the organization. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION : High school or GED required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience in construction management and healthcare services required. Licensures/Certifications: CCM certification preferred. Valid US driver’s license required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Deep knowledge of construction processes and requirements to launch a retail-based healthcare services location, including planning, resource management, cost management, and quality measurement. Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise between construction teams, finance teams, operations, and clinicians in an effective manner. High attention-to-detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently. Ability to address ambiguous situations and take initiative with innovative solutions to solve problems and create value. Passion for the organization’s mission, especially as it pertains to supporting clinicians and the children that they serve. Ability to manage project deliverables to ensure adherence with established quality standards. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS based, non-patient facing position. This is a remote role with travel requirements Up to 50%. OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to walk on job sites and sit for long periods of time. Share:
