The Telecommunications OSP/ISP Project Administrator supports Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) construction projects by coordinating project documentation, tracking schedules, managing permit submittals, maintaining communication with Managers and Supervisors, and ensuring all administrative aspects of the project run smoothly and efficiently.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Track and manage OSP and ISP project documentation including work orders, construction drawings, production reports, permits, and as-builts. * Coordinate permitting activities including submission, follow-up, and compliance with local/state requirements. * Maintain accurate job tracking logs, ensuring timely updates on project schedules, milestones, and deliverables. * Prepare project status reports and communicate regularly with project managers and field crews. * Maintain organized digital and physical records of all project-related files. * Assist with close-out packages, ensuring they meet client specifications and are delivered on time. * Facilitate communication across departments (management, field, accounting) to ensure alignment. * Attend project meetings and document action items, decisions, and required follow-ups.
*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or related field preferred. * 2+ years of administrative experience in telecommunications, utility construction, or similar industry. * Familiarity with OSP/ISP terminology and construction practices. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), project management software, and digital file systems. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
