Job Description:
Addison Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with a background in construction accounting. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity that can either convert to permanent or start direct-hire for the right candidate. This position plays a key role in supporting the project management team by managing financial tracking and reporting, contract documentation, and payment processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update job cost data, budgets, and change orders in project systems
- Prepare and submit project draw requests and associated documentation
- Track contractor payments, ensuring compliance with lien waiver requirements
- Support invoice entry, accounts payable/receivable, and collection follow-ups
- Reconcile project costs and retainage on a monthly basis
- Collaborate with management to assist in monthly close processes
- Assist with insurance verification, contract compliance, and document control
- Provide accurate reporting and cost analysis for ongoing projects
- Contribute to general administrative and accounting support as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project accounting or coordinator role
- Familiarity with lien waiver processing and construction industry practices
- Working knowledge of AIA billing and contracts
- Proficiency with job cost tracking software (Viewpoint Vista preferred)
- Solid Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
