Project Engineer (Heavy Civil Construction)

Job Title: Project Engineer - Roadway & Bridge Construction Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: 2-5 years preferred Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support roadway and bridge construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with civil infrastructure work and will assist project managers and field teams in delivering successful projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination Track quantities, prepare daily reports, and support cost control efforts Review project drawings, specifications, and submittals Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel Help manage RFIs, change orders, and project documentation Support quality control, safety compliance, and progress tracking Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field 2-5 years of experience in roadway and/or bridge construction preferred Familiarity with DOT standards and heavy civil construction practices Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency with construction software (e.g., HCSS, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, MS Project) EIT certification or working toward PE license is a plus All inquiries to this position are confidential in nature.
