Project Manager - Civil Construction

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our team and oversee civil construction projects from bid through closeout.
This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing self-performed site development work.
The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all phases of residential and commercial civil construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor/vendor coordination.
Lead pre-construction planning, estimating reviews, project launch meetings, and schedule development.
Oversee self-performed operations in grading, utility installation, paving, and related scopes of work.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Monitor job site productivity, financial performance, and cost controls.
Communicate effectively with clients, superintendents, field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Resolve project-related issues, RFI’s, submittals, and change orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Participate in job walks, progress meetings, and final inspections.
Maintain accurate and organized documentation, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and project logs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
5+ years of experience in civil construction project management, preferably with a self-performing contractor.
Proven track record of successful project delivery in both residential and commercial site development.
Strong understanding of grading, utilities, and paving operations.
Proficient in construction software (e.g., Procore, HCSS, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project).
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to travel to job sites in the Phoenix and Tucson areas as required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
