Duties Manage client expectations
Provide project leadership and supervisory skills
Control project documents to ensure they are complete, current, and properly managed
Manage and prepare cost proposals and change orders
Develop project budgets and oversee buy-out/contracting of the work
Handle project accounting functions, including owner billings and reviewing/approving subcontractor progress payments
Maintain budgets and control costs throughout the project lifecycle
Manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation requirements
Develop and manage CPM schedules
Oversee subcontractors, including coordination, procurement, monitoring budgets and costs, and managing billings
Coordinate with architects, designers, owners, subcontractors, and field personnel
Requirements Experience managing multiple construction projects or a large, complex project, in commercial and/or public works sectors
Graduates with a four-year degree in construction management, construction science, or related fields
Strong understanding of current construction methods, materials, and regulations
Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple activities and teams efficiently
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project or other scheduling software
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Special Considerations Experience with large school bond projects (e.g., SDUSD, LAUSD)
Procore project management software experience
Experience in the Higher Education or Healthcare market sectors
