Responsibilities of the project manager: Developing and maintaining project budgets, ensuring that all expenditures are properly authorized and tracked, and that project costs remain within budgetary constraints. Assisting in and devolping estimates of project scopes. Assisting in and developing some intial project drawings. Developing and maintaining project schedules, including resource allocation and critical path analysis, to ensure timely completion of all project tasks and milestones. Managing project risk by identifying potential problems, developing contingency plans, and communicating risk management strategies to team members and stakeholders. Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure project success and to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise. Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure that work is being performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards. Managing all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, submittals, and RFIs. Preparing and presenting project status reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders. Leading project meetings and facilitating communication among all team members and stakeholders. Mentoring and coaching junior team members, providing guidance, support, and feedback to help them grow and develop their skills and expertise. Representing the company in a professional manner at all times, building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Contributing to the continuous improvement of the company's project management processes and tools, and supporting the development of best practices and standards. The Successful Applicant
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred. At least 5 years of experience in construction project management. Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents. Proven track record of managing projects within budget and on schedule. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with Procore/MS studio or other construction project management software preferred. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations. What's on Offer
