*Job Description: *LEAN TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION is an electrical engineering firm specializing with over 25 years of large scale commercial and government facilities including utility, distribution, substation, and transmission power upgrades and planning. Lean Technology Corporation is currently working for a major facility/utility to manage a multi-year Substation Electrical Capacity Program to construct three new substations (3 x 55 MVA Transformer Bank, 1x 90MVA Transformer Bank, and 3 x 75 MVA Transformer Bank) and associated interconnection agreements (PG&E). We are looking for a Project Manager/Engineering Manager to serve as project/construction manager for this multi-year >$500M program.

*A. Opportunity*
As the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to be the owner representative for a large-scale program to upgrade the electrical capacity for a major city agency. This will include:
● Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians
● Manage diverse and challenging projects across our portfolio of design services and EPC programs
● Oversee design quality, budget, and schedule
● Support client interaction, proposals, and business development
*B. Education/Experience Minimum:*
● A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or construction management from a recognized accredited program
● Minimum of 10+ years related work experience.
● All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
C. *Key Responsibilities:*
● Serve as owner representative during the programming, design, and construction management aspect.
● Ensuring that QA/QC procedures are implemented within design and construction teams.
● Responsible for all aspects of project management, including scope development, quality control, and project delivery.
● Coordinate with other disciplines, including engineers, developers, utilities, and contractors
● Oversee the production of deliverables, ensure deliverables meet Client satisfaction and quality control requirements.
● Customarily and regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment to develop the right course of action
● Apply your engineering expertise and experience as required, work independently, and communicate with engineers and sub-consultants as required to ensure accurate and timely project
● Communicate regularly and directly with clients
*D. Preferred Qualifications*
● Engineering Degree or similar construction and project management experience.
● Experience managing Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) or design services substation and switchyard projects for utilities in the United States
● Experience in design of substation facilities with strong understanding of overall project lifecycle, layout design and optimization, relay protection & control, civil/structural designs, and technical knowledge of major equipment associated with substation facilities.
● Good communication skills and interest in engaging with Clients to grow relationships
● Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards
● Working knowledge of procurement process and contract administration
● Working knowledge of the proposal process and developing engineering estimates
● Experience with high voltage > 69kV.

This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.​ Relocation packages available*
