Job Description: Parsons is hiring an experienced Senior Project Manager to work on complex construction projects, creating innovative and practical solutions that enhance communities. In this role, you will be responsible for scope development, management, and ensuring the project meets its goals and objectives. You will plan, define program goals, and develop in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies. Your extensive experience in coordinating construction projects through all phases will propel your career forward. Responsibilities: Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations for government clients and stakeholders. Coordinate project interactions among existing and occupied facilities. Manage interdisciplinary teams of professionals and supporting labor categories. Integrate conflicting elements into planning and execution to ensure smooth project requirements flow. Have experience with federal and local government office building projects, understanding procedural, review, and approval processes. Mobilize company resources to create effective project teams. Discuss qualifications for key project roles with managers. Collaborate with facilities staff to address space requirements. Act as the company’s representative with clients and subcontractors during execution. Negotiate scope changes and secure additional work. Follow up on instructions and commitments related to the project. Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and public meetings as needed. Oversee the establishment of project plans, health and safety plans, QA/QC plans, and other documents. Develop and monitor project requirements, budgets, schedules, and plans. Devise and execute action plans for cost overruns or scope changes, advising clients and management accordingly. Promote technical and commercial excellence through QA processes. Monitor and report project progress, milestones, and conditions affecting cost or schedule. Establish weekly project review meetings. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 10+ years of engineering project management experience in construction programs. Experience with architectural and historic site renovation preferred. Professional registration such as PMP, CCM, PE, or AIA (waived for 20 years of experience). Familiarity with project management software like Procore or E-Builder preferred. USACE Corps of Engineers QCM Certification preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, interface with clients, and be hands-on technically. Strong knowledge of industry standards and project management practices. ***Must have US person status and the ability to obtain/maintain federal project site access.*** ***Local candidates preferred.
