Project Manager - Construction

Division:  RCS Construction (Celina, OH)

Duties:  Project Management and Estimating of light commercial jobs. Material take offs and communications with subcontractors and suppliers is essential. Use of blueprints and/or estimating software to accurately estimate cost of various building projects so accurate quotes and bids can be submitted.

Responsible for filing for permits. Connections with quality regional subcontractors is a helpful.

The position will be responsible for a project from beginning to end under the direction of management with support of our Project Management and Estimating team. We begin with the submittal process and the Project Manager sees things all the way through the punch list and handoff. The Project Manager will procure material for the Superintendent(s) and monitor schedules to ensure client satisfaction. While the Project Manager and Superintendent are the leaders of the project, our entire team supports and assists to ensure a great project is delivered.

A strong understanding and ability to read blueprints is needed. Basic understanding of drafting and design software is preferred. Previous experience with construction related project management software is a huge benefit.

Project Management, Estimating, Tracking Budget Expenses, Planning, Verbal Communication are all key skills needed for this position. The best Project Managers communicate well, take ownership of their responsibilities, and provide solutions to the team.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years project management or estimating experience. Strong math skills and attention to detail are a must.

Salary negotiable BOE.
