What you'll do

The Project Manager will assist in designing, planning, and constructing healthcare facilities and infrastructure across its multi-site network. This critical leadership role will manage capital construction and renovation projects, ensuring they support patient-centered care, operational efficiency, and full regulatory compliance with New York State healthcare standards. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in healthcare facility project management, including experience with the NYS Department of Health (NYSDOH), Office of Mental Health (OMH), and Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) regulations, as applicable. Reports to the Director of Design & Construction. Manage healthcare construction and renovation projects from design through close-out Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and end users Ensure project compliance with NYSDOH, The Joint Commission, NFPA, OSHA, and ADA Maintain accurate documentation and participate in regulatory submissions Oversee budgeting, cost tracking, value engineering, and change management Lead stakeholder meetings and communicate project status to senior leadership Ensure patient and staff safety via adherence to ICRA and infection control protocols Perform risk assessments and contribute to mitigation planning Travel regularly across Bassett facilities; hybrid work arrangements possible

What we need from you

Education: 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, required Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare construction and project management, required Knowledge of hospital infrastructure systems (MEP, life safety, infection control, etc.), required Strong understanding of healthcare codes, standards and construction methodologies, required Experience working in active healthcare environments with phased construction, preferred Experience with government-funded or publicly bid projects, preferred Licensure/Certifications: Valid NYS Driver's license, required A project management professional (PMP), certified healthcare constructor (CHC) or similar certification, preferred Familiarity with construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, eBuilder (TUC Project), required Skills: Logical Thinking Analysis & Evaluation Communication Accountability Critical Thinking Customer Service Reading/Writing/Comprehension Conflict Resolution Decision Making Interacting with People Strategic Thinking Problem Solving Physical Requirements: Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 lbs. for force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects Occasional balancing, crouching, grasping, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, stooping, fit testing Frequent climbing, typing/clerical/dexterity, kneeling, seeing/monitor/computer use, standing, visual acuity (color, depth, perception) Constant talking, walking Hazards: Occasional bodily fluids/bloodborne exposure, chemical, electrical, mechanical Working Conditions: Occasional vibration, gases, mists Frequent extreme temperatures, noise, wet and/or humid, dust, fumes, odors Travel: Extensive Travel - You should expect to travel every week

Pay Range

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. The above compensation range represents a good faith belief of the compensation range by Bassett Healthcare Network, and its entities and affiliates, at the time of this posting or advertisement.

Pay Range Minimum:

USD $89,576.05/Yr. Pay Range Maximum:
