Full time 40 hours/week | 8:00am - 5:00pm Mon-Fri
Executes building renovations and new construction by managing design and construction activities. The primary responsibiltiy of the Project Manager is the mangement of planning, design and construction activities for projects of all sizes. Managed activites include project scope definition, scheduling, budget preparation, consultant selection, design, document production, project estimating construction on projects that involved new or existing facilities, renovations and infrastructure. The PM is responsible for overseeing the activites of architects, engineers, specialty consultants, contractors and sub-contractors, coordinating interface stakeholders, maintaining appropriate quality and design standards, and to manage small workforces of in-house construction staff as needed. The PM is expected to sucessfully manage a moderate to heavy workload of projects requiring technical and practical knowledge, utilizing insight and good judgement on projects of varying levels of difficulty and utilizing good interpersonal and management skills.
Must successfully pass an AHCA Level 2 screening for this position
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
B.S. in Building Construction, Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture and five years minimum experience in commercial construction, or collectively ten years commercial construction experience. Must have experience in commercial construction project management and general knowledge of all phases of commercial construction and hospital building codes, including JCAHO and AHCA standards. Two years supervisory experience recommended.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'non-frequent driver'
