Our organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Civil Engineering, with a focus on AutoCAD, Engineering Design, Hydrology, and Transportation Engineering. With at least 5 years of experience in the field, the candidate will have a proven ability to manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standard.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage various civil engineering projects related to construction, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. * Utilize AutoCAD to design and draft detailed blueprints for construction projects. * Apply principles of Engineering Design to create innovative and efficient solutions for complex engineering problems. * Conduct Hydrology studies and assessments to understand the impact of water on construction projects, and develop strategies to manage these effects. * Participate in Transportation Engineering tasks, including the design and planning of transportation systems within construction projects. * Collaborate with other team members, including architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects. * Conduct site inspections to ensure construction is carried out as per the design and maintaining the highest level of safety and quality. * Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management, clients, and stakeholders. * Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations, and implement them in your work as appropriate.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in a Civil Engineering role. * Proficient in AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of Engineering Design principles. * Experience in Hydrology and Transportation Engineering. * Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to lead projects from conception to completion. * Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner. * Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative approach to engineering challenges. * Familiarity with industry regulations and standards. * Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
