Project Manager (Division 8 Construction)

This position manages projects from inception to completion. Deals with a diverse group of external callers as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgement is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload. Essential Functions
Review job contract and related information to ensure it is accurate and complete.
Work with contractors to prepare project plan, schedule material delivery and manage project documents.
Work with Detailers, Purchasing, Billing and Operations to meet project specifications and deliverables.
Manage change orders to maximize profit and keep projects up to date through completion.
Visit jobsites and attend meetings as required.
Efficiently handle multiple tasks and projects, while meeting project specific deadlines.
Learn new software programs as company grows and industry advances.
Job Qualifications
Required Education: High School Diploma (college degree )
Experience: Minimum 5 years in commercial door and hardware industry
AHC certification . AHC level proficiency required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Hollow Metal and Division 8 hardware knowledge
Knowledge of Building Codes is helpful
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Familiar with project management software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy

Physical Demands/Work Environment
