A leading national general contractor is seeking a Project Manager Ii to join their growing team. This role is perfect for a construction professional ready to take ownership of mid-to-large scale commercial projects and deliver exceptional results from preconstruction through closeout. You'll work alongside talented teams and industry-leading professionals on innovative, high-profile builds that shape communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of construction projects from planning and budgeting through execution and closeout
- Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and field teams to ensure scope, schedule, and budget alignment
- Manage subcontractor bidding, procurement, and contract negotiations
- Coordinate project schedules, logistics, and resource allocation
- Monitor jobsite progress, resolve issues, and ensure high standards of quality and safety
- Maintain project documentation and reporting for internal teams and clients
- Build and nurture client relationships and ensure exceptional communication throughout project lifecycle
- Provide mentorship to assistant project managers and project engineers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 510 years of experience in commercial construction project management
- Proven success managing projects ranging from $5M to $50M
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, contract negotiations, and industry software
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for collaboration, safety, and innovation
- Proven experience in K-12, High Education, Senior Living or Industrial
