Position Overview Our C&S Construction Practices continue to advance in the multi-family housing market, focusing on quality and exceptional service. We are seeking an experienced project leader with proven experience in the vertical multi-story construction industry. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary client contactfrom design input through project close-outand will have strong abilities to grow, manage, lead, and collaborate with a team of technical professionals within our San Diego office. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain a positive attitude and responsive customer service skills. Create and execute project work plans, ensuring complete task accountability. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project implementation, including individual tasking. Handle estimating and pricing aspects of projects, creating realistic estimates and adjusting prices as needed. Review deliverables prepared by the team before passing to the client. Apply the C&S Companies methodology and enforce project standards. Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. Conduct complete project buy-out and ensure adequate bid leveling. Select and coordinate work of subcontractors across various project phases. Administer construction contracts and obtain necessary permits and licenses. Supervise assistant managers, review their reports, address reported difficulties, and correct safety violations or deficiencies. Ensure construction activities adhere to schedule and budget forecasts, monitoring progress regularly and holding status meetings. Manage project accounting, including budgeting, expense tracking, and risk minimization. Maintain strict adherence to budget guidelines using Procore and/or Autodesk project management software. Qualifications Graduate of a four-year degree program in construction management, construction science, or related experience. Mandatory 5-8+ years of experience in construction administration or management roles. Experience in multi-family housing projects. Ability to develop accurate project estimates and pricing reports. Experience with plan review for multi-family projects. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Estimated Compensation Range: $120,000 - 140,000/year* *Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, education, certifications, and other factors.
