About Our Client

Job Description
- Project Management: Lead and oversee public sector construction projects ranging from $5M to $50M+
- Schedule Management: Manage all phases of project lifecycle including bidding, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and close-out
- Quality Control: Ensure compliance with NJ public contracting laws, DCA codes, prevailing wage requirements, and relevant regulatory standards
- Team Leadership: Coordinate with architects, engineers, school boards, municipal officials, and owner representatives
- Safety Compliance: Monitor field activities to ensure timely execution, safety compliance, and quality control
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders

The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 7 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years in public construction in New Jersey
- Proven track record delivering K-12 school, municipal, or other government-funded projects
- Strong understanding of New Jersey public procurement and DCA/DOL compliance
- Excellent communication, documentation, and team leadership skills
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites across Northern NJ
