Position Overview

The ideal candidate will bring experience in commercial, retail, and supermarket construction, and demonstrate strong problem-solving ability, leadership, and communication skills. This role is best suited for a highly organized, self-sufficient professional who can take ownership of project schedules, budgets, and quality.

Key Responsibilities Conduct and assist in pre-bid site visits, documenting existing conditions Prepare estimates, schedules of value, contracts, and permit applications Perform subcontractor buyouts and contract negotiations Coordinate and schedule trades and materials to ensure on-time delivery Oversee daily site activity, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized job site Enforce safety protocols for both employees and subcontractors Collaborate with clients and designers during the selections process Manage RFIs, submittals, addenda, change proposals, and change orders Review and code timesheets and invoices weekly Approve subcontractor and vendor payments based on project progress Collaborate with internal staff to review customer invoices weekly Generate punch lists and facilitate project close-out

Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication Proficiency with construction software including Sage, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Ability to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
