AlphaHire is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee steel fabrication and erection projects within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will coordinate all phases of the project lifecyclefrom estimating and planning to execution and close-outensuring timely delivery, quality control, and budget compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage structural and miscellaneous steel projects from bid award to completion. Coordinate with estimators, engineers, fabricators, erectors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project goals. Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to establish clear scopes of work. Monitor project schedules, procurement timelines, and budget performance. Conduct site visits, project meetings, and resolve field-related issues promptly. Maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, codes, and project specifications.
Qualifications
Experience in steel fabrication, erection, or construction project management. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, MS Project, Procore). Strong understanding of structural drawings, welding standards, and construction sequencing. Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
