Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Treatment Construction

Rice Lake Construction Group is seeking a project manager to support the management team of the company's water construction division. This position offers ample opportunity for growth and is an integral part of the project team. The role involves duties in all aspects of project management, including takeoff, document control, scheduling, site planning, updating logs and other project records, attending meetings, overseeing budgets, and writing purchase orders, subcontracts, RFIs, and bid proposals. Education and Background A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, a Two-Year Technical Degree in a related field or over 3 years of relevant trade experience in a leadership role on commercial construction projects is acceptable. Practical Knowledge Construction means & methods, site layout, math and complex calculations, critical thinking regarding specifications and plans, scheduling, materials scheduling, data analysis, organizational methods, writing, and verbal communication skills. Work Experience No work experience is required for candidates with a post-secondary degree in Construction Management or Engineering. A minimum of 3 years of relevant trade experience in a leadership capacity is required for others. Computer Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, cloud-based applications, Bluebeam, scheduling software, and estimating software. Successful Personality Traits Proactive, trustworthy, hardworking, loyal, flexible, industry-savvy, with the ability to adapt quickly to change, possess effective communication skills, above-average EQ, and the art of earning respect. Travel Frequent day trips and light overnight travel are expected.
