*Primary Duties and Responsibilities:*

1) Independently responsible for daily jobsite (field) supervision of all construction activities. Is directly responsible for timely coordination and execution of the same.
2) Primary liaison between the construction jobsite (field) and the office. Keeps the Project Manager timely informed of all critical field issues and potential problems.
3) Reviews and develops a commanding understanding of all contract documents and uses this information to effectively manage the project.
4) Responsible for timely and effective project start up including but not limited to procurement of the job trailer, all temporary facilities (phones, power, water, security fencing, privy's, project signage, etc.). See Project Startup Checklist for additional requirements.
5) Regularly reviews the Master Project Schedule (MPS) and advises the Project Manager of any necessary revisions. The MPS must always be current within one week.
6) Independently prepares detailed 3-week short interval schedules on a weekly basis that effectively coordinates all subcontractors.
7) Independently schedules a conducts weekly subcontractor coordination meetings. Expects and ensures regular subcontractor attendance.
8) Identifies field problems early and procures expedient resolutions through effective use of team members and available resources.
9) Schedules, coordinates, monitors and timely secures all required field inspections by governing authorities. Maintains permit cards.
10) Prepares detailed daily reports.
11) Maintains, at all times, a 100% updated set of contract drawings for field use. This specifically means that all addendum drawings and/or drawings reissued as a change to the contract are inserted into the updated set of plans (not stored separately).
12) Maintains all required business related records in the field including Permit Cards, Inspection Documentation, Safety Inspections, SWPPP Inspections, Purchase Orders, Daily Reports, Requests for Information, Field Directives, Schedules, As-Built Drawings, Memorandums, etc. Is organizationally responsible for appropriate filing/record keeping of the same.
13) Maintains project trailer (office) in a well-organized manner that outwardly appears neat and professional.
14) Reviews and develops a commanding understanding of Mackone Development's standard subcontract language and required company controls. Effectively utilizes this information as a tool to manage subcontractors.
17) Able to creatively and effectively resolve subcontractor disputes and field problems to minimize "out-of-pocket" change orders.
18) Assists the Project Manager in controlling the project budget. Demonstrates good fiscal judgment with expenditures and responsibly manages rentals.
19) Responsible for quality control. Makes sure quality of work in place is acceptable and in accordance with approved submittals and contract documents.
20) Maintains a clean and organized jobsite. Able to effectively control subcontractor cleanup.
21) Carries out all job responsibilities in accordance with all Federal, State and local laws and/or ordinances.
22) Carries out timely and proper implementation and maintenance of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan Best Management Practices (BMP's).
23) Proactively implements and adheres to all Company safety standards, policies and procedures including Mackone Development's Injury and Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP).
24) Coordinates all required activities necessary to secure Certificate of Occupancy from governing authorities prior to contractual project completion.
25) Creates and completes "self punch list" before Owner/Consultant punch lists are generated. Strives for a "zero punch" from Owner/Arch/City Agencies.
26) Completes Owner and/or City punch lists timely and prior to project completion and demobilization from jobsite.
27) Responsible for timely and effective demobilization at project completion. This includes but is not limited to the removal and/or cancellation of all temporary facilities and services.
*Skills and Educational Requirements:*
_1) High School Education required._
2) OSHA 30 preferred.
3) Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. (MS Project Highly Preffered)
*Working Conditions:*
_1) This position is located on a construction site (in the field) and typically operates out of a temporary job trailer. Actual location varies from project to project and frequently changes._
2) This position is classified as Exempt and employees may work more or less than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in any workweek without change in compensation.
_3) This position is generally assigned to a Monday through Friday workweek between the hours of 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. but employees may be required to work any day at any time when necessary to maintain required supervision of construction activities or as deemed appropriate by supervisor._
4) Physical job conditions are varied and typically require a lot of walking (often on uneven surfaces), some climbing and occasional light lifting though physical work is not a major component of this job.
5) Travel (including staying out of town during the week) should be expected. However, travel may or may not be required depending on specific project assignment.
6) Night work will be required.
7) Must adhere to all applicable Company Policy and Procedures.
8) Must adhere to Company Injury & Illness Prevention Plan.
9) Must pass a background clearance
