A premiere law firm with deep roots in the California Real Estate industry is seeking an associate attorney with at least 3 years' experience in real property and construction law to join their team. This position is based in either Century City or Orange County, CA, with a focus on construction-related transactional matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, including architecture and design agreements
Drafting and revising commercial leases and sales agreements
Closing purchase and sales transactions
Reviewing titles and surveys
Reviewing construction licenses and easements, development management agreements, and project management agreements, including engineering and consulting agreements
Qualifications:
Exceptional writing, organizational, and analytical skills
Ability to work in a team environment while managing substantial individual responsibilities
A sincere interest in expanding knowledge and growing professionally
Experience in real estate acquisitions/dispositions, financing, and transactional due diligence strongly preferred
Exposure to data center leasing preferred
Genuine interest in the real estate industry, as demonstrated through the Urban Land Institute, NAIOP, or similar organizations
Multiple years of AmLaw 200 experience preferred
A high level of academic achievement, including graduation from a top tier law school, preferred
Admission to the California State Bar required
