Our client is a full-service General Contractor/Construction Manager that has been in business for 25 years. This company, which is experiencing rapid growth, is renowned in the Manhattan area. Our client is currently seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team who is looking to grow with the business.

Job Description

Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination of trades.

Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure alignment with project goals.

Track project progress, budgets, and subcontractor performance.

Support procurement of materials and coordination of deliveries.

Maintain communication with clients, architects, and consultants.

Help manage project documentation including RFI logs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders.

Conduct site walks and assist with quality control and punch list management.

Promote and ensure safety compliance on site.

The Successful Applicant

2+ year's experience in Residential or Commerical Construction Project Management

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field strongly preferred

OSHA certification preferred

Proficient in project management software

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
