Retail Construction Project Manager

Insight Global is seeking a Construction Project Manager with experience on retail projects to work with one of our largest retail pharmacy companies. The Project Manager must possess the skills necessary to determine and complete surveying, budget planning and supervisory oversight for the execution of retail store remodels, new stores, relocation's, pharmacy expansions/modifications, disaster recovery, lease obligation, special project and other store project work. The ideal candidate would be located in the Northeast, traveling occasionally to the Ohio area for projects.
Responsibilities:
Travel to projects (10-26 weeks in advance) to define the scope evaluate current store conditions,
Meet with store operators to provide direction regarding pre-remodel deliverable's, order all necessary equipment (containers, dumpsters), fixtures (steel, merchandising aids, etc.).
Create a project budget, staffing requirements and a timing & action plan for the execution of the project SOW as set forth per program standards and guidelines.
Visit assigned projects throughout the duration to provide positive & constructive feedback to the project execution merchandise teams, store operations crew and general contractor (5 - 20 employees/contractors).
Review and approve and or deny change orders for material and staffing during a project;
Hold key executors accountable for their deliverables during the project.
Have direct oversight and management of the capital budget in projects ($50K - $250K capital)
Partner with the Sr. Project Manager for ordering, oversight and management of capital budget.
Visit construction sites to verify that all work is completed in accordance with specifications, and standards; review schedule, budget, and resolve project issues.
Conduct final review sign off with project executors, store teams and operations and complete project closeout regarding capital and labor budgets per program standards and guidelines.
Manage punch list to ensure all work is completed for newly opened stores and complete closeout package.
Requirements:
Associates and or Bachelor's degree in management, business or a related field.
5-8 years of Retail Merchandising experience and familiarity with fixtures, merchandising aids and planogram work in retail pharmacies or other similar mid-large box stores
2-3 years of Project Management or Store Management experience creating and managing capital and expense budgets
