Peril Mavens is sourcing for upcoming construction projects across Texas and is seeking Safety Consultants with proven construction site experience. This W-2 role offers an opportunity to work directly with general contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to enforce safety standards, conduct site assessments, and support ongoing compliance from pre-construction through project completion.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

•Conduct site safety inspections and job hazard analyses

•Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance (OSHA 1926)

•Support toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training facilitation

•Provide real-time field support for incident prevention and mitigation

•Submit technical safety reports with corrective recommendations

•Collaborate with GCs, subcontractors, and project leadership

Minimum Qualifications:

•BCSP certification required (e.g., CHST, CSP, OHST)

•3+ years of construction safety experience (commercial, civil or infrastructure projects)

•Must be local to Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, or Austin

•In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards and hazard control methods

•Strong written and verbal communication skills

•Ability to work independently and represent Peril Mavens on active jobsites

•Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check
