THE ROLE: This remote senior area sales role involves growing and managing customer relationships in the New England market (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut). The ideal mechanically-inclined, customer-facing professional for this role will reside in the Boston, MA area.
Your focus in this job will be to specify mechanical products into major construction projects. Verticals include healthcare, universities, airports, life sciences, data centers, semiconductor facilities, etc. Internally, you would collaborate closely with engineering and support teams to ensure client needs are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
A key component of the role is cultivating and maintaining relationships with mechanical engineers, engineering firms, and Owners. The company encourages proactive client engagement through happy hours, golfing, events, and more.
THE QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 7 years in industrial territory sales or mechanical project management Background in manufacturing, construction, general contracting, or MEP engineering is preferred Strong understanding of mechanical systems and/or commercial HVAC Enjoys client-facing interactions and professional networking Must reside in Boston and be open to regional travel (up to 30% overnight) Bachelors degree required
